1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ResizeX AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ResizeX AI provides free, browser-based tools for image processing, PDF management, optical character recognition (OCR), QR code generation, and related file utilities. The Service is provided "as is" without charge for personal and commercial use within the limits of these terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:
- Upload files that contain malicious code, malware, or exploits.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or interfere with the Service.
- Use automated scripts or bots to make excessive requests that overload the Service.
- Upload or process content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content of any kind.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, file size limits, or security measures.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without explicit written permission.
4. File Ownership
You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to files you upload to the Service. We do not claim any ownership of your content. We do not store, sell, or share your files with any third party. Files are processed in-memory only and deleted immediately after the processing response is delivered to your browser.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable. You assume full responsibility for the results of your use of the Service.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ResizeX AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months (which is zero for free users).
7. Rate Limits & Fair Use
To ensure availability for all users, we reserve the right to limit the number of processing requests per IP address per hour. Automated or bot traffic that degrades service availability for other users may be blocked without notice.
8. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
